Dear Sophia,

Today we get to make cookies. Mama says that these cookies are very healthy and we will think they are very yummy too. Let's try them!


Leesia and Lilly's cookies

3 bananas, mashed
2 cups oatmeal
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 cup coconut flakes
1/3 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
1 chopped apple
A sprinkle of craisins and a few mini chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325. Mix all ingredients together, refrigerate dough for 30 minutes, then drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. (These also make nice bar cookies). Bake for 20 minutes or until slightly crispy.
